Police say man fled crash scene SUMMIT STATION A 21-year-old Auburn man suffered minor injuries when the 1992 Jeep Wrangler he was driving crashed on Moyers Station Road, just north of Blue Mountain Road in Wayne Township, at 1:30 a.m. Feb. 16.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Tuesday that the crash occurred as Steven E. Casey was driving north when his SUV drifted off the road onto the west berm and hit several yard markers on a property at 543 Moyers Station Road. The SUV continued north, traveled across both lane and went onto the east berm before again crossing both lanes, going off the west side of the road and hitting a tree. After the crash, troopers said Casey received a ride and fled the scene without reporting the crash. He later returned and pushed the vehicle off the road and onto the east berm.

Troopers said Casey will receive several traffic citations as a result of the crash. Haven Area EMS while Nei-dlinger's injuries were listed as moderate, police said. He was taken to Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street by Pine Grove EMS. Troopers said Summit Station and Pine Grove firefighters and fire police assisted at the scene. Arbegast will receive traffic citations and also faces charges of DUI pending the results of a blood test taken after the crash, troopers said.

3 injured in W. Brunswick ORWIGSBURG State police at Schuylkill Haven investigated a crash at Route 61 and Brick Hill Road in West Brunswick Township at 9:45 p.m. Sunday. Marissa L. Reed, 18, of Minersville, was stopped at a stop sign on Brick Hill Road when she pulled out to travel south on Route 61 and drove into the path of a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado driven south on Route 61 by Thomas R.

Frehafer 86, of Schuylkill Haven, died Monday at the home of his nephew in Newark, Del. teg Born in Potts-ville, June 3, 1922, he was a son of the late Schuyler and Sara Kant-ner Frehafer He served in the Army as a sergeant during World War II, where he took part in the invasion of Africa and later saw action in the Italian Campaign at Naples, Italy He was last employed by Schuylkill Haven Borough as a code enforcement officer and prior to that he was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad.

He was also a Nationwide Insurance agent in the Schuylkill Haven area. He was of the Protestant faith. He was a member of Schuylkill Lodge 138 Free Accepted Masons, Orwigs-burg. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Mae Shaw Frehafer, on June 26, 1984; a brother, Sidney Frehafer, in March 1986; and his stepmother, Bessie Frehafer. Surviving are a son, Kenneth Frehafer and his wife, Molly, Schuylkill Haven; a granddaughter, Kristyn Frehafer, Orlando, a grandson, Kyle Frehafer, Schuylkill Haven; a great-granddaughter, Khalle Frehafer; a nephew, Schuyler Frehafer and his wife, Barbara, Newark, Del.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home 25 E. Main Schuylkill Haven, with the Rev. Kristopher M. Perry officiating.

A viewing for family and friends will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. Born in Lansford, Oct. 21, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Margaret Earley Cauley She was a member of St.

Stephen Roman Catholic Church, Port Carbon, and also was a member of the choir. She was a 1947 graduate of Port Carbon High School and was an avid Notre Dame fan. She coached the JFK swim teams in the early 1970s and was also a PIAA official for many of the swim meets. She was a devoted mother and home maker, who enjoyed being with her children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Eugene J.

Hollywood, on July 19, 1999; a son, Edward Hollywood; a sister, Patricia Brac-ey; three brothers, James, Maurice and Patrick Cauley Surviving are her sons, Hugh J. Hollywood, Roanoke, Texas, Jimi P. Hollywood, Pottsville, Dennis C. Hollywood and his companion, Jessica Spaid, Mohnton, Tom E. Hollywood and his wife, Patti Pottsville, and Michael P.

(AP) Raymond Alvah Hanson, whose many patents included a mechanism that made it safer to harvest grain on the rolling hills of the Palouse, has died. Hanson died Thursday at 85.

Rosemary A. Becker February 19, 2009 Rosemary A. Becker, 76, a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, passed away on Thursday in Kingston. Born in Shenandoah, March 9, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Alice Arminas Wysocki. She attended the Shenandoah Valley schools and resided in Ringtown for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard E. Becker, and by her daughter, Lisa Becker Rumbel. Surviving are her daughter, Linda Witchey and her husband, Louis, with whom she resided; grandchildren, Dana Lee Witchey, Wilkes-Barre, Louis James Witchey Wilkes-Barre, Leah Rose Rumbel, Ringtown; brothers and sisters, Joan Sturgis, Hometown, John (Cookie) Wysocki, Harrisburg, Edward Wysocki, Shenandoah, Filo Danks, Perkiomensville; nieces and nephews. Erb, 90, of Rest Haven nursing home, Schuylkill Haven, a resident of Hatboro for more than 50 years, died Tuesday at Rest Haven. Born in North Manheim Township, June 10, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Franklin D.

and Helen A. Smith Yeich. She retired from a food processing plant in Hatboro. She was of the Methodist faith. Margaret was past president of Gardners of the Crooked Billet and a member of Bowmans Hill Wildflower Preserve in the Hatboro area.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Erb, on Nov. 9, 1999. Surviving are a son, Harry Erb, Hood River, a grandson, Timothy Erb, Texas; a brother, Henry Yeich, Greenville, several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Rosalie Potts. She was a 1955 graduate of Saint Clair High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, Neal, in 2004.
